This is the greatest boogie woogie album ever. My father was a boogie woogie player and passed away recently. Listening to Silvan and closing my eyes, my Dad is at the 88s again.
Bought this CD for my Mom (73 years old) and she loves it--takes her right back to her childhood and she says "Zinggy" (as she calls him) knows how to play Boogie Woogie like the old-timers!

Where has this man been? When will he come to America to perform...to return boogie to the forefront of music. His left hand...those runs and trills with the right and the song selections....Cut #15 is worth the price of the CD...and there are 15 other cuts to listen to.....He is a force in the music business.

This is the only CD that has ever made me look foolish with earbuds in place, my iPod cranked up, pounding my fingers into my desktop, tapping my feet, bobbing my head with a goofy grin on my face all the while my office staff looking at me and wondering "What the hell is he listening to now?!" While looking for some Boogie Woogie music, I stumbled across this CD. After hearing the clip of Jumpin' The 88's I knew it was just was I was looking for. After receiving it I was even more impressed with the quality of the recordings. Very tight indeed. A very good selection of kickin' tunes to keep one going. Even the kids dance around while it's playing. Cheers to CD Baby for carrying such excellent works.

After playing my CD 100 times I think I can finally hear the "Scratching" and "Pops"!!!!! The Scratching noise is Mr. Zinggs fingers swishing across the Ivory and the Popping sound is The Brilliant Musicians poor wrists cracking after being distorted to give us all a never heard before arraignment of Keyboard delight!!!
