Silvan Zingg @ New Orleans Jazz Festival in Tel Aviv, Israel

From 21st to 23rd June 2018 the 1st New Orleans Jazz Festival in Tel Aviv, Israel took place and Silvan Zingg was part of it. He had the pleasure to play three concerts with Kenny ‘Blues Boss’ Wayne from Canada.

It all started with a welcome concert at the residence of the Swiss ambassador Jean-Daniel Ruch on Wednesday, 20th June.

The next day the official concerts started. Together with his dear friend Kenny ‘Blues Boss’ Wayne he performed a joyful Fats Domino Tribute at the Museum of Art in Tel Aviv.

On 22nd June followed the next concert, on two Steinway grand pianos together with Kenny Wayne. They were joined by Michael Varekamp on trumpet from The Netherlands, Erez Barnoy on saxophone, Assaf Hakimi on bass and Shay Zelman on drums from Israel.

The festival ended with the grand finale in the prestigious Recanati Hall on Saturday, 23rd June where all musicians were on stage to present a firework of good music to the enthusiastic audience.

Silvan Zingg is very proud to be part of this event and to get the opportunity to come back to Israel, where he played his last concert tour back in 2015.
